Sea Wave Thai Restaurant
Avalon Beach
Sea Wave Thai at Avalon Beach brings you all the flavours, colours and sounds of Thailand with a unique menu inspired by traditional recipes from its various regions. You will experience traditional friendly Thai service and good tastes from their menu.
Located on Avalon Parade – just look for Tuk Tuk out the front – here you can dine outside or indoors.
For entrees we had the Darling Harbour Prawns – done in a special coconut coating and served with a dipping sauce, Salt and Pepper squid – an old favourite that didn’t disappoint, Satay Chicken – authentic taste and loved the peanut sauce, and Fish Cakes – along with Tom Yum Goong – yummo!
We took home two Mains for later on; the Pad Ginger, you can select meat of your choice or tofu to go with a herbal stir fired ginger, vegetables mix, and a Laksa – who can go past a good Laksa?
There are some specials and discounts for ordering online – see link above – and a good bar and wine list for those who want to settle under an outdoor umbrella and enjoy the passing parade.
The margaritas went down well on a warm Summer afternoon.
