Women’s Resilience Centre Launches “The Resilience Circle” Retail Outlet – A Place to Recycle, Renew, Rebuild Lives

The Women’s Resilience Centre is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its first retail outlet, “The Resilience Circle,” a unique initiative designed to empower individuals through community connection and sustainable practices. Located in  Mona Vale, the store not only offers a curated selection of homewares, gifts, and fashion but also serves as a vital support hub where individuals can “Speak Easy” and seek help during challenging times.

The Resilience Circle: More Than Just a Store

The Resilience Circle is an innovative, welcoming space that allows the community to recycle and renew, helping reset and rebuild lives. By donating or purchasing quality homewares, gifts, and fashion, customers contribute directly to the Women’s Resilience Centre’s mission of providing trauma-informed care, resilience-building programs, and community recovery services.

All proceeds from the store go directly to supporting the Centre’s initiatives, offering crucial support to those affected by trauma, domestic violence, and other life hardships.

A Place to Speak Easy and Find Support

True to its mission, the Resilience Circle is designed as a safe place where all community members can “Speak Easy.” Whether needing a compassionate conversation, information about recovery services, or advice on accessing mentoring programs, individuals can feel welcome, supported, and understood. Trained staff members are on hand, all of whom are trauma-informed, ensuring every visitor experiences a space that prioritises healing and well-being.

Visitors will also have access to new educational services, community recovery programs, and engaging author talks aimed at fostering personal growth and resilience.

Grand Opening Celebration

The Women’s Resilience Centre invites the public to join in celebrating the grand opening of the Resilience Circle. In addition to discovering unique and meaningful products, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the Centre’s work, including its mentoring programs and community recovery services.

The shop is open to the public on 5 December.

“We are incredibly proud to launch this space, where people can feel safe and welcome and empowered to contribute to the community’s healing,” said Simone Allan, Founder of the Women’s Resilience Centre.

“By recycling and renewing, we help reset and rebuild lives in ways that are both sustainable and deeply impactful.”
