Pittwater Festival 2014 - Classic Yacht Regatta - Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 March 2014
A Celebration of Sail. Two days of classic yacht racing and cruising on the beautiful waters of Pittwater. Over 70 of Australia's most notable, historic and classic yachts pitted against each other over various courses, hosted by the Royal Motor Yacht Club, Newport.
Some of Australia’s most famous yachts have converged on the Royal Motor Yacht Club - Broken Bay this weekend - Gretel II, Love and War, Mother Goose, Salacia, Defiance, Hurrica (featured in The Great Gatsby) Killala (108 years old), Delfin, Janaway, Faerie, Maris, Ranger Class, Coutas and Jubilee’s, just to mention a few. All are on display on the Outer arm of the RMYC.
Come and join in the fun and witness this amazing spectacle culminating in the Sailing Parade on Sunday afternoon.
